StyleFashionista - Nena

Hello Loviesss,

 My Stylefashionista of the day is fun loving, stylish, petite and ever bubbly Nena. The financial service boss lady has a smile that can light up any room. 
We enjoyed interviewing her and absolutely love her style because she knows how to dress her cute and petite body.

  - Where are you originally from & where do you live currently: From Anambra State, living in Lagos Nigeria for now 

- What you do for a living: I am a Financial service sales manager( investment and Insurance) 

  - How do you relax/hobbies: Reading, Dancing Salsa, hanging out with friends 

  - What inspires your style: Comfort, playing with colors, thought of looking on point always.






 - Who is/are your style icons: Posh spice, Carrie Bradshaw 

  - What fashion item can't you live without: My high heels (learning to wear the low ones by force, aint getting younger) LOL

  - What's your preference, Ladylike or Boyish: Lady like 

  - Team Pumps or Wedge: Pumps all the way 

  - Are you obsessed with any fashion item in your closet at the moment and what is it: I love anything fitting to show my small frame but i think obsession is a potent word to describe it.





What's the most expensive or fashion item bargain you've ever owned and were they worth it: Most expensive is my Ferragamo bag, dont care if it was worth it, because my modus operandi is, if i like the bag then i buy it, for i buy myself a special birthday gift yearly regardless of cost. 
Bargain: is fun ear-rings, was not worth it as i misplaced it the day i wore it, bad clasp 

  - Are you a foodie and what's your favourite food: not a foodie but love to snack; cakes, ice cream and chocolate 

 - How do you stay fit & healthy: i dance salsa, merengue and bachata, though trying to force my instructor to teach me kizomba 

  - What's the weirdest thing I'll find in your handbag: My very mighty make up bag... Hahaha

 - Your favorite holiday location: Florida especially the beach and salsa clubs

    Love that she can dress her petite body and she isn't afraid to wear fitted clothes and her pants are well cut and the right length because thats an issue i notice with most petite chics. Love her shoes too

    Some confident and real lady... not afraid to flaunt her petite legs that's some confidence unlike most ladies her stature who will not flaunt what they've got because they want it as long as whoever... thats confidence and real because she recognizes growing older...Fashion for me starts from the inside, what suits you and not what is in vogue. Go girl! you've got it!!!

    Nnena was right on point when she said she wears anything fitting to show her petite frame but i would say simply she has a very good dress sense. Yeah, Nnena is a colleague and i know her as someone who loves life and also loves to create a fun environment around her all the time. Hmm............high heels, can she do without it?

    Always been a damn good dresser...ever top rated weh it comes to looking formal and sexy/lady like same time...wouldn't mind employing her as my wardrop consultant (i.e if i can pay her)...she understands the core meaning of blending biznes n pleasure in her in simple dress sense combo and her shoes? always looking made for her...all said and done guess you shld take more look into her million and one pics to understand my sexy/lady like boss appearance i think she explifies

    Hmmmmm.... Style? I fink uve got it!! Buh I also fink u shud do smtin abt ur makeup... Its only in d 80's dat u outline ur lips dat way nd draw eyepencil like dat... Love ur choice of footwear, plus I can't help but notice u r. Not d jewery type, like custume chains and stuffs, It won't be a bad idea if u try dem out. #takia

      Your comments are noted Anonymous July 8- 23.59, coincidentally i was thinking same about the Jewelry bit, however let me draw your attention to the following:I wore a costume crystal like Jewelry on the grey dress but you can't view it bcos of my pose but you can always view it on rhythm unplugged 2012 blue carpet which was captured in Allure magazine accessory section.
      The red dress and cream colored top had chains as well, though simple ones.
      As for the 80's remark, you adopt what you think and know suits you, i would not use a full lip color/gloss without a defined lip to avoid DTM as can be viewed, worn on both style network clients and some other fashionistas featured in this same blog
      Anyways, thanks for your opinion and thought that i still got style!!

    Now thats a lady that understands style. Nena understands each occassion she is attending and her dress style says tons. Been cute and pettie, she rocks every piece of garment she wares, and her choice of shoes and accessories says it all - "I am pretty and sexy". She understands style, which makes her stand out. For me, she is just adorable! SXC!!

    Love her confident look. She had a lot of hits and a few misses but all in all, i am truly inspired because i am petite and sometimes its so hard to dress up. But seeing her do it effortlessly is encouraging. Love your blog so much.

    That's my girl Hun. No dulling anytime. Always on point n loves having funnnn; as in going out. Calls u at wee hours to ask if u wanna hang out & you go like - do u realize it's almost midnight & she goes yeah but it's not even midnight yet. Haha what's the difference.
