Proudly Nigerian

Hello Loviessss,

 Happy Independence Nigeria; We are 53 years today...Yipee. 

 So i woke up today at 6am and i rejected the devil and every spirit of waking up early or work mode work ko, work ni. I just covered myself and went deeper under my duvet and switched my sleep gear to another level. I finally woke up about 11am and went to get my bowl of cereal, turned on my TV only to realize i had forgotten to renew my DSTV subscription :(  I was so looking forward to watching  Come Dine with me, Keeping up appearances, Big bang theory, Anger management etc. I had to turn to my bootleg dvd's i bought a while ago from the guy opposite the Palms shopping mall. That guy is just a life saver. 


Anyways, I promised not to write a lot of long stories about Nigeria, i would just continue to pray and thank God that our land is still green and things would surely get better.  
One thing i know is i am PROUDLY NIGERIAN.


For my outfit, i had this old Topshop T-shirt i designed with rhinestones a while ago and i paired it with my black pencil skirt, metal toe cap pumps, tiny green belt and mustard envelope purse. 

 Now to my confession; immediately after my dear neighbor took this picture, i went back into my apartment, undressed, slipped into my joggers and tee and went back too bed...hehehe.

I guess i just remembered Lamina & Eniola's threats about sending militants to kidnap me if i don't keep up with my blog job...hahaha.

    Blogging can be soooo hard. There's the picture taking bit to sort out, then the uploading (try uploading on a day Swift decides to be slow), then there's the writing that follows (you gotta write something).       Hmm bex you are spot on with the whole blogging being hard sometimes. The hardest part for me would have to be getting who to take the pictures and nice locations. My kid sister runs away immediately she sees my camera coming her way...LOL.

      Anyways in other news, i loveeeeeeeee your new food blog. Love all the recipes so far. Well done dearie.

      I will get in touch with Berry right away so we can plan properly. I know she is busy now but we can steal one day from her very busy schedule. Abi berry?...hehe

    Hehehe! I feel you on the blogging thingy, not an easy bit. Kai! the photos sometimes can be tasking especially when you can feel like a thousand eyes drilling holes into you! Ooh! and there is the bribing of whoever is available to take the photos, Chimo! my household would soon become millionaires from exploiting me.

      @ Ngozi, the photo taking part has to be the worse! Everybody in my house avoids me when it comes to pic taking. I even tried to get a mini tripod stand so I can just set the timer, rush back, pose and wait for the click but it didn't quite work out! If not for the love of fashion ehn......

      @Bex the tripod stand wouldn't be a bad idea for me just that i can already imaging myself tripping or my smile or pose being fake while waiting for the timer :-D

    I feel you SF, that day was like a saturday and cos my weekends are usually packed, i just chilled. Now i see my you didn't look up. Sleep was still in your eye. Haha.
