Rocking & Loving My Fro

Hello Loviesssss,

About two months ago i decided braid my hair (Protective hairstyle) and i enjoyed every bit of the braids. I packed/styled it in different ways and the older it got, the more i fell in love with it.

Anyways i decided to take out the braids after 7 weeks (BTW, I washed/conditioned my braided hair every 2 weeks) and i loved my hair even more. I got some calls and emails from friends and readers asking how long my hair had grown and i pondered on what response to give and came to the conclusion that its really about the health of the hair and not the length.

I would say 'the forest' as i like to call my hair...hehehe has grown significantly and i believe my transitioning days are over.

I would do a proper hair post soon when i take pictures of different ways to style the natural hair.

All i know right now is i'm rocking my fro and loving it.

So to all my naturals out there, newbies especially remember:
- Be confident when rocking your natural hair
- The health of the hair comes first before the length
- Not everything works for everyone
- Love your hair on the good days and not so good days...LOL

Thanks for always reading.

Much Love,

xoxo.

  11. Hey stylefash I wish I had your guts. Your quote for the day is just apt for my situation. I feel I won't look nice with my natural hair. I actually shake in fear at the thought of going natural. And my permed hair is a mess. Thank God for weavons. Mehn you are truly rocking the fro confidently and that blue top and smoked skirt is hot.

    1. Lisa Lovie I know the feeling of getting tired of permed hair. Maybe you should do a protective hairstyle and use the period to decide if you want to continue with your relaxed hair or go on the natural hair journey. Either way, you'll have to give your hair some attention and pampering Thanks for always reading.

      Xoxo.
