Happy New Month to you. I pray this 2nd half  of the year brings you blessings, joy, peace and fulfillment in all you do.

Yipeee, we got another entry for our StyleFashionista post from the fun loving, hardworking, hawttt Amaka. I am still amazed at how she is able to juggle it all. I call her Super Chic Mum. Did i mention her really cute son? I'll leave you to scroll down and see for yourself :-) :-)
I'll do almost anything to have her tiny waist...Jezzzz...LOL. She has such a sweet spirit and her interview cracked me up big time.

Thanks for always reading lovies.
xoxo.

Name: Amaka

Where are you originally from & where do you live currently: I am from the  Coal city. Enugu state and I presently live in d first garden city a little town in  Hertfordshire south of England

What you do for a living: I am a sales consultant and an Entrepreneur. I run and own Staragencylimited.com

How do you relax/hobbies: Relax hmmmmmm. Until I am in the same league as Aliko Dangote, not sure I can relax. Loll

What inspires your style: My mood mainly inspires my style however over time I have realised that I love elegance and class when it comes to style.

Who is your style icon: I am my own style icon jaree. Unless they have same mood swings as myself.

What's your preference;Ladylike or Boyish: I am a Lady and I love Ladylike dressing.

What fashion item can't you live without: I don't think there is anything I can't live without

Pumps or wedges: Am I allowed to like both? Love my pumps with dresses and my wedges on boot cut jeans.    *Smilessss*

Are you obsessed with any fashion item in your closet now and what is it: Obsessed? nada. I don't get attached to anything besides my boobs which is attached to me..LOL

What's the most expensive or cheapest fashion item you've ever owned and was it worth it: Most expensive for me will be my Channel bags, in hindsight, I don't think they were worth it.

Bargain: I don't do cheap sweetie, am allergic to cheap laughing hard. Am joking...lol.  Every woman loves a bargain, well I do don't know about you :-) That's where you will find me. As much as I hate the sale madness, I love bargains.  Once i got a designer shoe for £10 in selfridges sales. Lovely right. From £800 to 10quid. That's what am talking about. This just goes to show you that every woman, no matter how wealthy loves a bargain. Quality for less that's what it's called right? :-) :-)

Are you a foodie and what's your favourite food: naaa, not a foodie perhaps that explains my size winks

You are a working mum, how are you able to juggle it all and still look this hot: Super Single yummy mum. My darling I give God the glory because residing in a place like England its only been by God's grace that I am able to juggle and balance motherhood and career, however I must thank my sister (Uju) who has been a great sister and my family for their support. I have an amazing support system that is perhaps how I have been able to manage.

How do you stay fit & healthy: I have never been to the gym ever, so I will say how I keep fit is a combination of my busy lifestyle, forgetting to eat most times (not being a foodie) and perhaps eating healthy. I don't eat Junks or chocolate. Well not really.

What's the weirdest thing I'll find in your handbag: I don't think I carry weird things in my bag, only essentials really.

Your favourite holiday location: So far, I will say I Love  Tuscany, Florence ,Nice. ( Italy) ,Dubai . I will tell you somewhere I found very interesting in Nigeria just 3years ago, Ado Ekitti, there is a river called Ikogosi, where hot and Cold water meets, how fascinating is that. I took a subject regarding that and I and a few south African  and Greek friends decided to go and visit. We had a ball, so much fun. So I would say that one is memorable for me.

Old Stock to the Rescue

Hey Loviesss,

So i was tidying the denim section of my closet last night when i found this gorgeous blue jeans. I am certain i must have bought it about 4 years ago and here i've been recycling my regular denims forgetting all about this one.

I am usually really excited when i check my closet and i am able to put together an outfit from 'Old Stock'.  My entire outfit today must be about 4-5 years and it feels good to still fit into them and piece them together.

I also got my hair braided and i plan to rock it for 7 weeks; I am so going to miss my 'fro :-(

P.S Hope you have been enjoying our StyleFashionista posts?

Thank you lovies for always reading.

Stay Chic.

xoxo.

StyleFashionista - Curvy & Fabulous 'Lade

Hello Loviessss,

Today our stylefashionista is the very lovely, curvy and fabulous lade, a student in England.
She sent in her pictures and was very quick to remind me that she is working on a tight budget. I couldn't stop laughing cos i know the feeling. Been there.

She sure knows how to style her curves and i think she nailed it in her outfits.

I love that she wears all kinds of prints and embraces bold colors.

What do you guys think?

Name: 'Lade

Where are you originally from & where do you live currently: Osun state in Nigeria, but currently reside in a small town in the East Midlands, England.

What you do for a living:  I am currently a part time, job seeking student (babe on a tight, throat cutting budget)

How do you relax/hobbies: Singing, watching series (addicted to Grey's Anatomy, Suits, Scandal, revenge and Vampire Diaries....Cant wait till they all return for new seasons), watching talent shows (American idol, Britain's got talent, X-factor, etc....i recommend the Nigerian versions of these shows to laugh you guts out), surfing the web and gisting with my friends and sisters.

What inspires your style: My comfort, confidence and comfort of everyone that will see me..i'll explain- as a curvy lady, there are parts of my body that i'm not comfortable exposing, so i usually keep them under wraps..plus there are trends that i believe aren' t for curvy ladies too

Who is your style icon:  To be honest, i dont really have one... My mum maybe...Lady white of life!, And maybe Tanesha of Girl with curves (http://girlwithcurves.com/About).

Are you ladylike or boyish in your dressing: I like to think i'm ladylike..i do have my boyish days though.

What fashion item can't you live without: Blazers and Flats please

Pumps or wedges: Pumps please! Eww to wedges, i have only 'owned' one ever (it was stolen from my elder sister)

Are you obsessed with any fashion item in your closet now and what is it:  I love 98% of the stuff in my closet right now but not obsessed...i have a few things i'm obsessed with but i don't own them....YET!

What's the most expensive or cheapest fashion item you've ever owned and was it worth it:  Nothing jare.. I usually wait for a sale, so maybe half of my closet is a steal..Lol!

Are you a foodie and what's your favourite food: Not really a foodie, but my favorite food should be a nice plate of chicken salad....*tongue out*

How do you stay fit & healthy: I hate exercise (and it shows) but i then to walk around and take the stairs A LOT in my current country of residence.

What's the weirdest thing I'll find in your handbag: Nothing really...i hardly carry unnecessary stuff..A needle and thread sometimes might be the weirdest stuff periodically in my bag

Your favourite holiday location: Dubai & Singapore

How do you dress your curves: I just dress for me, i try to cover my 'problem areas' such as my arms and i always take other people into consideration..(don't want to be hurting anyone's eyes now)..I find a lot of african curvy ladies dressing in extremely tight clothes as they seem not to know the difference between fitted and tight, exposing stretch marked arms and cellulite filled thighs (you can edit anywhere u feel i went overboard as you dont want to reduce followers oh! lol)...thats why blazers are my wardrobe staples...i dont really find it difficult though,  but sometimes its hard to find nice fitting items to buy.

Brands that cater for you body type: H and M (their blazers are the life- in colors and fit), New look, Zara (Yimu) and Primarni (for my flats)!!! Ebay also helps A LOT!
Advice to other curvy ladies: Dress you body right and you'll look amazing..Invest in blazers they boost your confidence and please let's learn to buy our size...

StyleFashionista - Tolu

Hey Loviessss,

Its another stylefashionista day here at stylefash25 and today i'll be featuring my gorgeous friend Tolu. She is so fun loving and such a darling; I actually do not recall a dull moment with her and i am  sure you can tell from her interview :-)

Her style is ladylike, colorful and chic.

However, my beef with my friend is she has such cute feet and gets all the pretty shoes. I almost cry when we go shopping because she gets all the beautiful shoes. Has anyone ever noticed how 'not so pretty' the bigger sized shoes of the same design look?....LOL.

Anyways Tolu is style meets brains meets fun.

Name: Tolu

Where are you originally from & where do you live currently: I'm from Ondo State in Nigeria (the state with the highest number of professors :) and I live in England.

What you do for a living: I work as a Project Manager for Barclaycard.

How do you relax/hobbies: I hang out with family and friends to relax. A Skype addict i am! Also enjoy spa sessions. Traveling can't be ruled out of my agenda ever!

What inspires your style:  A blend of comfort and classic works for me. I like to give off the impression of being classy and unique.

Who is your style icon: Alesha Dixon

Are you ladylike or boyish kind of girl: Very ladylike in my dressing

What fashion item can't you live without: Raceback tank tops - I can't do without these

Pumps or wedges: Wedges because these kind of offer a stylish twist.

Are you obsessed with any fashion item in your closet now and what is it: Obsessed with a new handbag that a friend got for me. It's got a lot of blings - don't remember ever owning a bag with so many blings!

What fashion item have you purchased & considered a steal and was it worth it: Cheapest fashion item ever owned - earrings of $2. This was a good buy. RRP was $48. One of the hooks had come off but then i couldnt resist the 'irresistible' price

Are you a foodie and what's your favourite food: A loyal foodie - yes! I like my tortilla wraps with lots of veggies and chicken and light mayo. Easy to make, affordable, healthy fillings, doesn't require dish washing haha, gas cooker not required, best part is I can have it anytime of the day. Don't see me as a lazy lady after reading this thread :)

How do you stay fit & healthy: I go about my daily fitness routines - love brisk walking. I take a lot of healthy meals to stay healthy - Love my smoothies

What's the weirdest thing I'll find in your handbag: weirdest stuff in my bag is a toothbrush 'cos u never know where u will end up

Yayyy I've Been Featured

Hello Loviessss,

Hope your weekend was fabulous?
Guess who got featured this past weekend??? Meeeeee. I was featured by my wonderful friend Zizi of dressed2dnines on her WORK IT GIRL post.

I remember when i wanted to start this blog, she was one of the people who inspired me. I also remember calling her endlessly to help find my way around the blog world; now i am a semi - badooo pro...LOL. When i was struggling with remaining anonymous or doing posts on my style, she encouraged me saying "people would relate better when they see the face behind the posts". Thanks babes, you've been a star.

Please check out the post on her blog here www.dressed2dnines.blogspot.com.

Thank you all for believing in this blog and to my amazing followers and readers who take time out to comment on every single post, a thousand kisses to you.

By the way, over the next couple of weeks, i'll be featuring ladies i consider fashionista's and 'The Gentleman is Back column' would also be featured :-)

Thanks for always reading.

Patriotic & Fabulous

Hello Loviesssss,

Hope your week has been good? I've been having some issues with my internet provider and i am seriously thinking about 'porting'. Not even funny at all... I wont mention any names but God is watching you on 3D.

I don't know if i am the only one on the Big Brother Africa train :-). I know a lot of people cant stand the show but I am a sucker for reality TV and the more annoying, the better...LOLOLOL. (ermm i know some are an absolute NO NO).

Anyways, just as i was getting ready for work today, i realized Annabel from Kenya had won the head of house task for next week and if you have been following BBA, you'll notice our very dear nice & level-headed Melvin who was head of house saved Bolt from Sierra-Leon and put her in his place so she is up for eviction on sunday. Knowing how this show plays out, if she isn't evicted on sunday, she'll probably put Melvin up for eviction next week since she is head of house.
My amazement however was, the moment Nigerians realized that she had won the head of house task, the TV tweets went crazy and trust us not to joke with our own. Everyone is ready for next week to vote and keep Melvin in the House. I was so moved by the show of love i just thought to myself i am proud to be Nigerian. We might have our issues like any normal family(those issues are plenty sha a lot...LOL) but when it comes to supporting our own, we don't even play.

Anyways i reached into my closet and brought out this lovely Primani T-shirt with the Nigerian Coat of Arms i designed with rhinestone. Yes i was feeling very patriotic & in the *TeamMelvin* spirit....Hehehehe.

Hope you like.

P.S i just got the complete season of scandal season 2 (the other CD i got had just 6 episodes) so i am super excited. Cannot wait to see what Olivia Pope has been up to.

Have a fabulous weekend lovies.

xoxo.

Would You Rock?

Hello Loviessss,

How have you all been? I was going through a fellow blogger's website www.kibuasworld.com and i came across these interesting shoes.

I decided to check the source www.anastasiaradevich.com and wowwwww, wowwwza, wowwwwwchh. I couldn't shut my mouth.

What do you think? Are they hot, interesting or just really weird.

Would you be adventurous enough to wear any of these?

Enjoy.
