Still in love with my colored Jeans

Trust you've all been good? I was tidying up my closet a few days ago and i noticed my numerous colored jeans i bought last year. I was so crazy about them then and i still am now...lol. I remember buying all of them (I must have about 5 pairs). 


Interestingly they are still trending and trust me when your at a loss for what to wear for a playful day or night out, slip into one either cropped or long, team with heels, pumps, a lovely top or tees, blazer and your good to go.

Staples for the working girl

Hope you all had a lovely restful weekend? mine was spent visiting friends. While i was at my friend's, we started talking about how ladies dress to work and i thought i should do a post on some wardrobe staples for the working girl. Trust me, staples get boring but its still important you have them then you can play around with them as much as you want :-)

  The LBD, can be worn with a blazer over it, a shirt underneath or worn alone

 The neutral toned or grey pants are a must have

 Neutral colored or white shirts with ruffles, pockets bows, peter pan etc

          The stripe shirt to add some color

       A pair of comfortable jeans for friday

ARISE Africa Fashion Week 2012

How have you all been? have had an extremely busy 2-weeks. Was so busy, i missed the Arise Magazine Fashion Week Lagos 2012 :-( 


My very good friend Funlayo Deri was showing her collection and i was not there to cheer/support her......bad bad office boss decided i should go on an official trip that week :-( 


Anyhoo thanks to bellanaija & fabmagazine i was able to upload some pics......phewww.


The 8th of March saw the beginning of one of the most talked about events in the African fashion industry. There were over 77 designers from Africa & around the world who showed their creativity and yeah, they did not disappoint. A few of them were outstanding, some were just there but all in all i was impressed at how fast the industry is growing. The show also saw the introduction of CLAN - Deola Sagoe's children.


I've decided to show some pieces from some designers i really liked- Tiffany Amber, Tsemaye, Funlayo Deri, Odio Mimonet, Phunk Afrique, Meena, Maki Oh, LaQuan, Farrah, CLAN, Christine Brown and also some street style that were quite interesting (trust Nigerians not to disappoint).
