Hair Crush

Hello Loviessss,

Today's post is our first on the hair crush column.

I decided to go natural about 8 months ago and its been one of the most liberating experiences (that is gist/blog post for another day *wink*).

I do not miss relaxing my hair one bit. There are days when my natural hair has a mind of its own but i am inspired by naturals like the smart and stunning Adepero Oduye.

Gosh i love her hair so much. She is a natural with a mighty arsenal of styles. And we love that she loves herself.

My rule for going natural is love your hair, be patient with it and embrace it with confidence.

Here are our top hair do's from her.

xoxo.

    1. Hey Olive lovie, maintaining natural hair isn't too stressful. But like everything in life, you need to pay attention to it if you want to have a good result. I just advise you have a simple hassle free routine you follow and you'll be fine. Thanks for stopping by. xoxo

  2. OMG i want her hair so much. You are so right stylefash, it takes a lot of loving and patience to achieve this sort of hair. I am also natural but i don't have variety of styles. Can you do a post on short natural styles?

  3. More grease to the scalps of 'ye au naturales'.....with hair as coarse as mine, i'd be living in hell with perpetual headaches if i ever dare to do this. However, i think some of her hair styles are cute, some others..not-so-cute.... Nice post stylefash, this variety is very appealing and i embrace it.

  4. I want and need her hair. My hair is permed and annoying me cos the relaxers and weaves have destroyed it. Please stylefash do I need to cut my hair completely to go all natural? That's my fear

    1. Hey Lovie, you don't need to cut your hair to go all natural. Please read my post on "Gone natural & loving it". You can transition (allowing the perm grow out to natural) for as long as you want.

The big chop is never easy but its the quickest way to go natural. I always advise you transition for as long as you want and do as many protective hairstyles as possible.

      Thanks for your comment. xoxo
